At Foster Commerce we are always on the lookout for developers who stand out as experts and push the boundaries of what's possible.
Meet Ty Tudehope, a seasoned software engineer with over fifteen years of distinguished experience in back-end and full-stack development — and the newest member of the Foster Commerce team!
Known for his proficiency in the Rust programming language, Ty is a trailblazer in architecting and delivering high-performance, reliable, and scalable solutions. In addition to solid coding and operational experience, Ty specializes in solving difficult technical problems, often providing dependable and creative fixes.
Having worked at Foster Commerce in previous years, we’re excited to have Ty putting his inspired approach to coding back to work for our clients, and for our product development team. In the few short months Ty has been back, he has already helped develop the Variant Manager, one of our newest plugins.
Most recently, Ty was promoted to the role of Head of Engineering. In his new role, Ty brings a balance of inspiration and pragmatism as he supports the team to stretch and learn while staying true to our rigorous standards.
Ty balances work with frequent outings with friends and family. He especially loves riding his mountain bike around the rugged mountain slopes of South Africa.
